SuperCharger FinTech Accelerator
Strategically located in Hong Kong, SuperCharger is the first FinTech accelerator program dedicated to both start up and more established tech companies aiming to capture the Asian growth market. The program leverages on Hong Kong’s traditional strength as Asia’s finance and technology gateway.
SuperCharger has two strategic Main Partners: Standard Chartered Bank, a leading international banking group and one of the Hong Kong’s three note-issuing banks, and Fidelity International, a world-class investment management services company. The Accelerator is also supported by a number of supporting organizations, among which VISA, Baker & McKenzie, HK Exchange, Cyberport and others. SuperCharger is backed by investment partners such as Eight Roads, Arbor Ventures and East Ventures.
SuperCharger has designed a structured curriculum to create success. The accelerator assists with company building, mentorship and advice in areas such as market entry, regulatory obligations and joint ventures opportunities. The program itself coincides with the peak time of financial and start-up activity in Hong Kong.

Team Descriptions:
Janos – Founder & CEO. Passionate about FinTech, Millennials and Social Inclusion. Co-editor of The FinTech Book. Hobbies: watching Demolition Ranch on Youtube and occasional Pokemon Go enthusiast.
Tyler (Ty) – American guy moving to Hong Kong from Beijing. He has a passion for financial inclusion, having worked for development organizations in the past. Outside of work, likes to cook, play tennis, and hike. Wants to learn Canto.
Seyoung – Head of start-up relations at SuperCharger. She likes volleyball, gin and tonics, and Super Smash Bros.
Natalie – My name is Natalie. I’m passionate about social change and tech for good. I like singing and playing the guitar. In my spare time you’ll catch me watching videos of puppies and kittens.
Inna – Currently doing a PhD at HKU. Interested in social enterprise, sustainable development and environmental issues. In my free time, I love being around nature, hiking, going to museums and concerts, and just having fun.
Jen – Jen is head of Media and Comms at SuperCharger. She is an ex-swimmer and Aussie dweller with great appreciation for beaches. Enjoys brewing coffee, discovering beats and learning peculiar accents.
Hugo – Hackathon & marketing master. Travel and cook lover, couchsurfer and learning to play the guitar.
