She Can, So She Did – The very first Women’s Empowerment Series brought to you by Campfire.

This month-long of workshops, screenings and panel discussions, are curated with special topics and collaborations by women for women to help you connect, create, flourish and thrive.

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2019, Campfire and partners have curated events for women to explore new topics, create positive habits and put plans into action.

We want to see you empowered and to succeed!

Green Women Festival 2019

Join us on Green Women Festival as we celebrate a future in which green innovation creates unprecedented opportunities for women and girls to play an active role in building more inclusive systems, efficient services and sustainable infrastructure to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs and gender equality. We’ll learn from these green women women who have strived for a better Hong Kong with their initiatives, and so we all can build a greener and more gender-balanced world.

 Film Screening of City of Joy

We are collaborating with Art Women and Table of Two Cities to do a free screening of the Netflix documentary, City of Joy. City of Joy is a documentary about survivors of gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the ways in which they have rebuilt their lives. As Art Women was founded by women from DRC too, the narrative of survival and working through trauma to a brighter future will be showcased this International Women’s Day.

There will be a fireside chat with the founder of Art Women after the screening followed by a Q&A session.
